The Silo Factor. It erodes Teamwork, Unity and Purpose and sucess.
How can we grow together in Unity and purpose and overcome the Silo Factor ?
A silo mentality is a reluctance to share information with employees, volunteers and members of different divisions in the same organization.
The Silo factor more often than not reduces the organization’s efficiency and, at worst, contributing to damaging the organizations culture.
A mind-set present in some organizations when certain departments or sectors do not wish to share information with others in the same organization. A general lack of communication. This type of mentality will reduce the efficiency of the overall operation, reduce morale, and may contribute to the demise of a productive healthy and honoring culture. It will drive members to with draw or withhold not feeling a part, but only used like a cog in the big machine, not appreciated or valued enough to be a part of the process together.
May we have the grace to share with one another in honor and respect each other and may we learn how to effectivly work together. May we build stonger together.
