Prophetic Warning Dream

This morning, I woke up and saw this boat with a hole in the floor. Water leaking in. It didn’t seem like much, but it was certainly enough to sink it if it was not handled.
The guy in the boat saw it and realized what was going on and said oh it’s really nothing and made the decision to not let anyone know about it.
For if he told everyone there was a problem the ramifications would be very hard, so the choice was made to ignore the hole in the boat.
I now was looking at the water filling the boat, now up above the ankles it was filling faster than at first thought.
This had now escalated into a major problem.
It was obvious that if this was not handled the boat would sink and it would be going down and the cost of it all would be great.
As I was watching this play out in front of me, I realized the guy in the boat was a friend of mine.
He was captain of the ship, but this was not a ship.
This was just a small boat.
It was then I saw it.
He was being farriered to his ship in the deep-water harbor.
The harbor was full of vessels, different shapes and sizes and styles.
There were war ships, there were cargo ships, there were passenger ships.
His ship was like that of the explorers, like Christopher Columbus. His crew was awaiting him.
It was then he looked down again and the water was up to his knees.
And he realized that this was not good!
He had no life vest, and it would be a cold hard swim in the darkness of night.
I watched as he evaluated the situation, and it became obvious that he was going to have to jump off this boat and just give it all he had to swim for his ship.
As he plunged into the cold water, the situation had serious changed for him.
His cry out to the Father was one of confession and one of repentance.
“Lord if you get me out of this one – I will do anything you ask”
With the little boat now behind him and inches from sinking, he knew that he had to also deal with the “little” hole in the big boat, for now the fleet was at risk. From what I saw in the water there were 11 or 12 vessels in his fleet.
He knew he had to call the Admiral and Captains together, and deal with things because everyone was at risk.
He now had a new resolve. It was not just about him, his reputation, his image, or his ministry.
I watched as the weight of the Lord come on him, and the fear of the Lord.
What he had just been through was a close call.
Way to close.
No longer would he be able to justify things extending unsanctified grace when it was time for truth and restoration.
It was about the Kingdom. Not platforms.
It was about integrity.
It was about the Fathers good will, plans and purposes.
